How the rooms are kept usable
Rooms can be locked
A room owner can freeze posting while keeping the history readable.
Members can be removed
Owners and moderators can remove someone from their room. Admins can suspend chat access across the whole platform.

Posting requires a verified email address, which keeps disposable spam accounts out.
Every room is public. Treat anything you post as readable by other job seekers — do not share personal documents, salary offers you are not comfortable disclosing, or anything confidential to an employer.

Do I need an account to join a community room?
Yes. Rooms are open to every member, but you need a free TheJobSprint account with a verified email address before you can read or post. Verification keeps throwaway spam accounts out of a directory that anyone can browse.
Can anyone create a room?
Yes. Any verified member can create a room, give it a name and a topic, and it is immediately listed in the public directory for anyone to join. You can have up to 10 active rooms at a time.
Are the rooms private?
No. Every room is public and joinable by any member — that is the point of the feature. There are no hidden or invite-only rooms, so do not share anything in a room that you would not want other job seekers to read.
Who can remove a message or a member?
Whoever created the room can lock it, remove a member or delete any message in it. Platform administrators can do the same in any room and can also suspend someone from chatting anywhere on TheJobSprint.
How does the referral link work?
Every member gets a personal referral link and a short code from their Invite Friends page. When someone signs up through your link, they are credited to you and appear in your referral list. The code also works if they type it in by hand.
Do I get paid for referrals?
No. Referrals are not a paid or rewarded programme — the page simply shows how many people joined through your link. TheJobSprint is free to use, so there is nothing to earn a commission on.
